Chemical composition

 

High quality carbon round steel rods and hot rolled (or continuous casting) round steel rods are used as material of hot rolled grinding media baIIs. The diameter of round steel rods should be equal to the nominal diameter of grinding baIIs. Normally, the length of each round steel rod is 6M.

Chemical Composition of grinding balls in our company is as follows:

 

C:0.42-0.90% Si:≤2.0%
Cr:≤1.0% Mo,V,Ti,Cu:≤0.5%
Ni:≤0.5% P:≤0.050%
Mn:≤1.2% S:≤0.050%

B2 material

C:0.75-0.85% Si:0.15-0.35%
Cr:0.50-0.60% Mo,V,Ti,Cu:≤0.5%
Ni:≤0.5% P:≤0.050%
Mn:0.70-0.90% S:≤0.050%

B3 material

C:0.58-0.66% Si:1.40-1.90%
Cr:0.70-0.90% Mo,V,Ti,Cu:≤0.5%
Ni:≤0.5% P:≤0.050%
Mn:0.65-0.80% S:≤0.050%

B6 material

C:0.70-0.90% Si:0.20-0.40%
Cr:0.80-1.0% Mo,V,Ti,Cu:≤0.5%
Ni:≤0.5% P:≤0.050%
Mn:0.85-1.05% S:≤0.050%

We could adjust the above chemical composition according to users' specific requirements,and balls of specific types of steel appointed by users could be produced as well.
